Turquoise Morning Press is genre fiction publisher. Although not primarily a romance publisher, we do publish a large number of romance and erotic romance titles. We are no longer seeking non-fiction works and will only publish non-fiction for special projects. We are no longer seeking memoirs or illustrated children's picture books. We do not publish poetry. We publish anthologies by invitation or special call. Our in-house authors have first shot at special projects.

Turquoise Morning Press has several imprints, including: Honey Creek Books, Sapphire Nights Books, Barefoot and After Happily Ever.

We are eager to review books that may be candidates for our newly announced category romance imprint,

THE BOUTIQUE COLLECTION.

Please review the category descriptions carefully and submit works that fit within the guidelines. Follow our submission checklist below and submit directly to submissions@turquosemorning.com. Please put the words -- CATEGORY ROMANCE SUBMISSION - TITLE in your subject line. (Put your title in place of the word TITLE).

For general submissions, we are still acquiring for following genres:

Young Adult Novels (50K and up)
Romance and erotic romance novellas/novelettes (15 - 40K)
Single Title Fiction (60K and up), that includes the following: Women's Fiction, Mainstream Fiction, Romance, Erotic Romance

Sub- and cross-genre stories will also be considered if they fall within the above fiction categories. This includes fantasy/urban fantasy, mystery, suspense/thrillers, fictionalized diaries, paranormal elements, and other.

AUTHORS - Submission Checklist:

• Prepare your manuscript in an electronic file, with 1 1/2 line spacing. No single line space. One inch margins.

• Submit your file as a .doc or .rtf file. Please, no Word Perfect or Microsoft Works. If you do not have Microsoft Word, please consider downloading Open Office software which is compatible.

• Provide a short query letter in the body of your email, including information about your project, your writing experience, your online presence, and if you have one, a brief marketing plan for your book.

• Attach and send both a brief synopsis and the complete manuscript*.

*Please note: Category submissions may send a proposal -- three chapters plus 2-5 page synopsis.
